Amro Shamaileh focuses his career on drafting wills and estate plans and counseling trusts of all sizes. From modest to multimillion-dollar estates, Amro has helped his clients navigate the nuanced world of estate planning. Amro founded Islamic Wills USA with the belief that Muslims in the United States should have an affordable and accessible option for creating an estate plan that complies with Islamic, state and federal laws.
Prior to founding Islamic Wills USA, Amro worked with the Illinois Firm of Per K. Hanson, Associated, P.C., where he specialized in drafting wills and estate plans, and founded the Shamaileh Law Firm, LLC, where he also focused on wills and estate planning, in addition to corporate and real estate law. Amro is also a founding partner of Mohammed, Shamaileh & Tabahi, LLC.
Amro maintains a busy pro bono practice to serve those who cannot afford legal representation. Among other things, Amro serves as pro bono counsel to the Hayyat Clinic and the Palestinian Student Scholarship Fund and offers his services free of charge to indigent families and individuals.
Amro graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2009 with a B.S. in Mathematics and completed his law degree in 2012 from the Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington. Indiana, a top-25 ranked law school.
